{BN Black Book of Parties} ‘Lil Cowboy themed Baby Shower

Since I did a girl baby shower last week, I thought I’d do a boy baby shower this week…just to keep it fair :-)  I came across this rustic ‘Lil Cowboy themed shower by Tammy at Meghily’s ~ Party in Style and had to share it with you.  I love that the theme is something different and unique, not to mention all the fabulous little details that make it so special.

Tammy planned this shower for her dear friend’s sister.  This was her first baby and the inspiration for the shower came from a sweet pair of cowboy boots the mama to be bought when she first found out she was pregnant – how fun is that?!  Tammy also did a wonderful job incorporating the colors of the nursery in the design – green, turquoise and brown.

Tammy made the BECK sign as a gift for the mother to be using an old frame, a turquoise backdrop and unfinished letters from Michaels. It is definitely the perfect focal point of the backdrop.

I absolutely LOVE the burlap used in the cupcake toppers!

All of the decor Tammy incorporated came from either her home or from flea markets around town.  It just goes to show that you don’t have to spend a ton of money to make a party look fabulous! The horse hide fabric and many other elements came from her daughter’s passion for horses which started years ago!

Adorable onesies hanging from clothespins with matching fabric tassels all add to the wonderfully coordinated decorations.

Tammy did such a fabulous job with all of the signs and printables – the fonts she chose are just perfect for the theme.

The sister of the mom-to-be, Elaine of Sweet as Sugar Candy Buffets, created the fun candy bar, where guests could fill their embellished paper bags with sweet treats.

The photobooth looks so fun, with the wood frame and WANTED letters.  Everyone had a great time using the mustache props!

Fabulous job with everything, Tammy!  I’m sure the mamma to be couldn’t have been happier with her special day.  Thanks for letting us share with our readers!  Tammy also has a great tip about the poms she made for the sweets table backdrop…check out her blog post HERE for more pics as well.

    Hi there,
I absolutely loved the concept and I’m trying to create something very similar for my son’s first birthday. Where did you get the signs in the the frames, The tags, and all the Food labels? I have come up empty handed and I’m running out of time. Could you please give me a connection or solution please? :)
    Thanks!
