Around the holiday’s I make all kinds of good snacks and treats… Good food is always a plus when you have company! I also LOVE making my house feel warm and cozy with decorations and a nice fire! I love making family and friends feel welcomed when they come over. Just sending a Christmas card can make a difference and let someone know you care.

I make my guests feel extra welcome around the holidays by spending time with them and taking lots of pictures for all of us to enjoy. I also make up scrapbook pages for their family and ours so we may remember how important being together as family and friends really are. Besides getting the house clean, etc I always try to have at least one thing that each individual likes. Ex: my sis-in-law LOVES Godiva Hot Chocolate, Mom loves hot cider – i try to have variety so everyone can have something they like

I always fold the table napkins like an elf shoe. When kids visit they get a kick out of it specially if I fill them with candy canes.

I believe a well stocked guest room and bath are uber-important. I try to think of al the little things that I might need and provide them for my guests. Water, tissues, cough drops, mints, a good book, and a bedtime snack help create a feeling of warmth and welcome.
