Welcome to another What I Wore post, where I show you some of my daily outfits and things I am crushing on at the moment. I love doing these because I think you get to know me better and how my fashion bleeds into my home design. I really do think they overlap. One of the first things I ask a client is what is their favorite color. I think this is such an important question. The color you gravitate towards says a lot about you and your personality. If you’ve been around here awhile (which I know you have!) then you know how much I love blue. To me it reminds me of my first love – the ocean. Especially now being in Dallas, I tend to wear blue much more and it is in almost every room of my home. It is a soothing color and to me makes me happy. I KNOW you have a color that makes you feel the same way too. My best advise is to wear it often and place it in your home. You will feel more yourself and at home in your home. So today I am sharing one of my go-to color combinations . . . .blue and white and how I am wearing it transitioning from winter to spring.
I am one of those people that tends to always be cold. I typically throw a sweater around my waist when I’m running errands just in case. I love a good cable knit sweater like this one because they are so warm a cozy. Okay truths – how many cable knit sweaters do you own? I swear I have at least 5!
Oh y’all know how much I love my coffee! I typically am always on the go with one of these babies in my hand!
Crossbody purses have become my obsession in the last year. I don’t know why it took me so long to invest in a few good ones that I wear all the time. They are so practical. I love this Tory Burch ( similar ) one I got last Fall. That is one of my favorite accessory brands. Each piece is classic and timeless. So worth the price tag in my book.
Okay so let’s talk about Hunter Boots for a minute. I got my first pair last year. They were the gloss black. . . and I lived in them the whole winter season. I was actually so surprised how much I actually wore them that this year I got them in my favorite color and in a little bit more of a trendy look. I am SO happy I did. I hear people talk about the price of them but I honestly do not think they are that expensive and I think it is because I don’t use them as just a rain boot. I use them just as I would my other boots. I think next year I am going to pick a girl pink color. I’ve been crushing on the soft pink ones!
So there you have it. My go-to mom attire for the end of winter! What is your color crush? Is there a lot of it in your wardrobe??
