I bookmarked this fabulous Peppa Pig party created by Laura of Laura Winslow Photography a few months ago when she first blogged about it and I was so excited to come across the bookmark the other day so I can share it with you! Her daughter is obsessed with Peppa Pig, so Laura KNEW she had to have a Peppa Pig party for her 3rd birthday. Here is the cute invitation that Laura created to set the tone for the party – love it!
Peppa Pig is a British television show and things are hard to find here in the U.S. so Laura incorporated one of the pig family’s favorite activities – jumping in muddy puddles – into the theme of the party. As guests arrived, they could try on a pair of Addie’s rain boots and step into muddy puddles made from kraft paper – darling idea!
I absolutely LOVE the dessert table – it’s fun and whimsy and the bright colors are fabulous. The white puffy clouds and heart shaped raindrops set against the wavy patterned fabric are the perfect backdrop for the yummy treats on the table. The vintage frame highlighting the beautiful cake and fabric buntings are wonderful accents.
The cake couldn’t be cuter and Laura’s daughter loved seeing herself next to Peppa on top of the cake! The fabulous Peppa Pig cupcake toppers were an exact match!
Other yummy desserts included muddy puddle cups and muddy puddle jumpers – so clever! The “non-dessert” food looks delicious as well!
Laura found a cool display piece at an antique store and painted it pink to hold the pink striped favor bags. Inside were some bouncy balls and a tag that said “We had a BALL”.
Laura ordered a darling personalized Peppa Pig book for her daughter and had the guests sign it – what a great way to remember the friends and family that attended the party!
Peppa Pig coloring pages are a great activity, especially for kids around that age!
