I really like the jungle or safari theme, especially for a first birthday party because 1 year olds totally love animals. I know mine did! Crystal from A Pumpkin & A Princess did a wonderful job creating a darling 1st birthday party with a safari theme for her son Zach.
Crystal used kraft paper packaging from the Dollar Store to make the paper rosettes for the backdrop – so simple and inexpensive but gives the table that little extra touch.
A friend made the fabulous cake which was the perfect centerpiece for the table.
Crystal made some delicious desserts including chocolate covered pretzels and cake balls, which were displayed in unfinished wood crates.
Drinks were served in fun mason jars with daisy cut lids and adorned in burlap ribbon and baker’s twine.
The kraft favor boxes were embellished with burlap, twine and the #1. Inside was the perfect treat for the kids – animal crackers! Adults were given a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie packaged in pretty brown paper sacks.
Great job on your son’s safari themed 1st birthday party, Crystal! And thanks for letting us share it with our fabulous readers!
