Hi Everyone! My name is Sheila and I write the lifestyle and home decor blog, Maison de Cinq. I’m thrilled to be here writing my second holiday post for A Blissful Nest! Last month I shared a fall/Thanksgiving themed tablescape, so I this time around I thought I would share a traditional Christmas tablescape. Usually my tablescapes are inspired by a particular theme, and this one was no exception. I found these plaid plates at Marshall’s recently, and I knew I had to do a Christmas table around them!
A Natural Christmas Tablescape:
I already owned the cute red toile plates from last year, and I knew they would look amazing with the plaid ones so that was my inspiration. I also wanted to incorporate a lot of natural elements. I used some little live pine trees, pinecones and greens, and burlap.
I also found an adorable little “cabin” at Home Goods and made that the centerpiece. I placed it atop a French vintage basket and added some greens and tiny pinecones.
I also had a runner from Pottery Barn that I love, but had never used! It seemed to fit so that combined with pine cone napkin rings, and red napkins, completed the look.
