The first day of spring is next week and Easter shortly after. With all the trees starting to bloom here in Texas, it is making me want a lighter and brighter color pallette in my home. I still love lots of texture but it is time to get out of that winter slump and decorate for one of my favorite seasons. I still hold true that blue is always a great color no matter what the season is to decorate with. Well that and it is my signature color! But this is when I go a few shades lighter. I’m also still a stripe girl so I’m sharing a few current favorites of those too right now. You can mix and match these for a fresh spring look and if you want a little extra pop, then I would throw a splash of soft yellow into the mix. You can use my How To Mix Fabric Patterns guide if you need a little help. I will be sharing my living room reveal all decorated for spring in the next few weeks and you will see many of these in the mix. Hope you love them and they inspire you to get decorating for spring!
