The autumn brings not only cooler air but the holiday season. With Halloween done and over, it’s time to look ahead to Thanksgiving. I love this holiday where my family sits around our table and enjoys a HUGE meal and special moments. We have a few traditions we do each year and you can read more about those HERE. But one thing I always like to do is decorate my table in a fresh new way each year. There are a few classic pieces though that help me set that stage and today I am over on the Tuesday Morning Blog spilling my secrets on how to set a beautiful and simple traditional Thanksgiving table.
This year I opted with one of my favorite colors of the season and created a menu and decor that colorfully accent each other.
I also created a fresh “living” centerpiece using one of my heirloom pumpkins from Halloween and vegetables from the supermarket. It is low so you can see above it to the other side of the table and very inexpensive to make. I will be sharing a quick tutorial on it soon so stay tuned!
I added fun holiday accents that are great for not only the kids but adults. I’m loving these seasonal holiday confetti poppers and thought they would be fun next to each place setting.
You can never go wrong with white dishes and there are a few new pieces I added to my collection this year like this antler bowl. I love that it has a modern look to it and fun for the whole fall season. I will be adding an assortment of nuts and leaving it on my counter for a little snack spot for my family to munch on.
