Sharing a beautiful blue and white Easter tablescape with easy steps to follow to recreate it on your own. These simple and on-trend pieces will instantly elevate your Easter table decor!

With Easter around the corner, I thought it would be fun to share ahead of time what my Easter tablescape will look like this year so we can be twins!

I love to set a traditional Easter table and I went to one of my favorite stores, Hobby Lobby, to grab everything I needed to set this cute table. Their Easter decor is currently 40% off and there are so many great finds to choose from. I almost went with a totally different color scheme before settling on this blue and white theme.

How to create an Easter tablescape

There are not too many elements needed to recreate this layered Easter look so let me walk you through what I purchased and how I created this table.

Start with plain basic serving pieces

I typically use the same white plates and silverware for most of my tablescapes. It makes it so much easier to get the fun decor you want and use color, pattern, and texture in the other decor.

I also tend to love plain tablecloths and chargers. Again this helps your decorations stand out more.

Add a colorful napkin and create a whimsical place setting.

This is where you can really have some fun! Here are a couple of ideas on how to set a place setting that is unique and different.

  • Use a colorful napkin. I love these beautiful cornflower blue napkins with a lace edge detail. They are not seasonal specific making them easy to transition for any tablescape any time of the year.
  • Use fun napkin rings. Get creative with this! I found these adorable white wood bunny napkin ring holders and casually pulled the napkins through and placed them on top of the plates.

  • Add whimsical decor pieces right to the plate. Think of this as a little treat just for your guest. I love to sometimes add something sweet and in this case, wanted another color element. I found this jute carrot with raffia stems and love the bold pop of orange it adds.

Create a dynamic centerpiece

This is where you can really tie them in and use layered decor to fill up the table.

I found these darling braided bunnies which were perfect for the center of the table. They also would be cute tucked next to cookbooks on a kitchen counter or used in a bookcase.

I placed the sitting bunny in front of a vase filled with these mini rose bush flowers.

I then used these grass squares on either end of the table and placed these standing braided bunnies paired with these adorable blue and white check bunnies. The little bow around the neck ties in perfectly with the braided bunnies.

These grass squares are so easy to stack next to each other to create a “table runner” or separate them as I did for a fun patchwork look.

Lastly, I added these mini white baskets and filled them with these polka dot eggs. I love the idea to have these eggs with baskets spread all around the house to tie in all the Easter decor. Such a cute affordable way to get the holiday look!
