Spring is officially here and I could not be more excited to clean up, redecorate, and create my spring outdoor oasis in our backyard! Our patio has really been looking a little less than the place to spend our time since coming off of the winter months.

Everything is in need of a good scrub down and the flower beds have looked bare for so long. As much as I am excited or our plants to turn green again and start showing some buds, we definitely needed to help it all along.

Every year at Walmart, I grab my spring gardening essentials. I always share when they have the $40 topiaries that I put in my front planters on either side of my garage and give you a heads up before they are gone. Well, friends RUN NOW. They are there.

Walmart always has everything I need to complete my spring gardening and more from patio decor to the plants themselves for my yard. I love that I can easily refresh my space with affordable on-trend pieces from them.

So I wanted to share with you what I snagged over the weekend at Walmart and how I upped our gardening/patio game to create a beautiful refreshed backyard oasis for us to enjoy.

We have massive issues with bunnies here in Texas and they eat just about everything I plant. So this year I decided to go a different route. I found this beautiful resin-standing planter with a built-in water reservoir.

It is the perfect size for the brick wall right outside our patio door. I love the look of the resin pattern against the brick and it gives a modern flair to the space.

It has these spacers too so you can split your garden into 3 different sections if need be.

I also picked up some fresh soil, Walmart always has the biggest selection, and some beautiful plants to add some color to our patio.

Each year I get a new set of gardening gloves and tools since I tend to lose mine each year. I am obsessed with the designer patterns Walmart has in its gardening tools.

Walmart had so many beautiful plants and it was super hard to choose but these lavender and petunia plants are so pretty mixed together.

I can’t wait until they fill in a bit more and create an even more vibrant display. Plus the lavender smells so amazing when you walk out the back door. It really helps set the mood for a relaxing tranquil space.

I also picked up these gorgeous bougainvilleas and just popped them in a plain white planter. I had these lanterns from last year from Walmart, but this is a similar one to get the look.

I’ve rounded up my favorite pieces to help you transform your patio for spring and create a dream oasis for your family and friends!
