Sharing my green and white spring porch with simple spring decor finds to easily update your porch for the spring season.

With winter finally over and leaves starting to bloom on all the trees, I transitioned our front porch for spring the other week and thought I would share some of the new finds I found and how I used them.

I am loving decorating our new house and recently shared our kitchen design with you all as the first room reveal in our new home.

Our front porch is another favorite spot in our new home and it is so different from our last home. It is much wider and gives me so many more opportunities to decorate it new and fun ways.

We have these gorgeous side lights on either side of our front door which makes it appear bigger than it is and lets a lot of light into the entry area inside.

The porch itself is extra wide so finding some design solutions that will permanently stay through each season has been key to decorating the space.

The shingles are a light gray and the trim/siding is all in white with black hardware so it is a great neutral backdrop for each seasonal change.

I talked about these oversized sconce lanterns before on our porch but truly they really are such a statement and pull the design of the front door hardware together with the style of the house.

Since they are so oversized, I needed other pieces to fit the scale so they did not look out of place.

Which is why I got two of these white lattice benches to go on either side of the front door.

They sit right under each of the windows and I found these affordable green and white floral pillows and cabana stripe pillows to dress them up for spring.

I paired them with these soft gray blue pillows to add a little diverse color to the look.

You know I have a thing for using UV-protected artificial flowers on my porches and if you want to know how to make gorgeous faux outdoor arrangements like these using them then go take a look at this tutorial.

I placed two of these planters on either side of my front door and used the following to create them.

I have had these gold lanterns (similar) for a while and love the oversized tall look of them. I think it is always a good idea to go bigger and I nestled them into the side of the planters so the leaves spill over them.

This year I chose a simple white cherry blossom wreath for the door. Typically I love to dress it up a bit with some ribbon but went for a more simple look this season.

I love adding ribbons to my wreaths like I did on our spring porch from last year if you want to add a little more decoration to them. I like to either buy all the ribbons myself and make my own or you can get some really great ones on Etsy.

I kept the same two doormats from our Christmas front porch because I love them so much and they transition easily from season to season.

As you can tell I am a fan of things that you can keep and use no matter what time of year it is.

I love to layer my doormats and the green and white plaid one (similar) is a great way to add a little color and pattern to the look.

And I love the coir basket weave look of the one on top. It is simple but has a subtle pattern to it that would look great with whatever rug I want to put under it in the future.

And that’s it my friends! We are working with some landscape designers on the plans for our front and backyard which I will be sharing soon. It will I’m sure take us a while to implement it but having the plans on the front end will save us time and money.

Below are all the sources for my green and white porch decor so you can easily recreate the look for your porch too.
