Who’s ready for a Girl’s Night In this weekend?! I know I am and we’ve got reason to celebrate my friends. You can bring home Fifty Shades Darker Unrated with deleted and extended scenes and an all-new sneak peek of Fifty Shades Freed! Yep that’s right. You can purchase your copy today on iTunes and get it on Blu-ray & DVD starting May 9.
The sequel stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson in the second tantalizing installment of the global phenomenon sparked by E.L. James’ best-selling book trilogy returns with the second chapter of the darkly alluring tale that captivated the world. Fans can now stay in and have the ultimate Girls Night In with Fifty Shades Darker Unrated Edition, and this time, there are no rules and no secrets.
With the new Fifty Shades Darker movie now available to watch a home, I’ve got the perfect sangria drink recipe for you and your friends to enjoy along with your movie viewing party. Set up a little cocktail station with my Passion Mint Tea Sangria and decorate it with some masks for some fun party themed decor to coordinate with the movie. I love this twist on a traditional sangria and I think you will too!
Passion Mint Tea Sangria Drink Recipe:
This is a super simple drink recipe and you can make it the night before. Here is the list of ingredients you will need.
- Red Wine
- Sweet Tea/Passion Sweet Tea
- Mint Leaves
Step 1: Pour tea into pitcher 1/2 way.
Step 2: Pour red wine into the pitcher and fill until it is 1/4″ from the top.
Step 3: Slice your fruit and fill pitcher with the slices. I used 1 orange, 10-12 strawberries and 1/2 a pineapple.
Step 4: Fill pitcher with 4-5 mint leaves.
Step 5: Stir ingredients well and place pitcher in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
Step 6: Serve sangria garnished with slices of fruit.
I dressed my cocktails up even more with these fun black and white polka dot straws.
Aren’t these the cutest cocktail glasses to get you into the movie viewing mood?! I added a masquerade mask to my pitcher too for some extra flare.
The fruit in the pitcher is so yummy to eat too since it has been soaking in your drink mix. Be sure to have some small plates on hand so you can serve some to the girls.
Have you seen the movie yet? I can’t wait to have my friends over and kick my husband out for the night for my Girl’s Night In party! It’s time to stay in and slip into something darker this weekend!
