This year we kept it simple in our red, white and blue decorations for the house, especially compared to a few years ago.
The burlap stars from the $1 bins at Target were such a find! I just tucked the strings under the pitchers and it created the perfect garland.

My little burlap wrapped vase (found at a antique store) got 2 little flags placed inside. I love popping yellow in my 4ht of July decor. I think it is such a happy and bright color that lends a nice accent. I pulled this pillow out from the closet of pillows (sadly I have a whole closest stuffed to the brim with pillows).
Lastly, a blue pitcher from our family filled with fresh hydrangeas gives it all a soft pop.
