Sharing an easy and fresh summer patio makeover with finds from Walmart for a fun and simple update you can recreate for your own outdoor space.

One of my favorite places to decorate at our little rental home is this front patio space. It is to the right of our entryway and is the perfect place to have a cup of coffee in the morning.
A lot of the houses around here have these and it’s fun to see how everyone decorates them. So I thought today I could show you how I updated it with some stylish affordable finds on Walmart.
If you haven’t tested out Walmart’s curbside pickup then DO IT. It is a game changer. I love shopping Walmart online because it is super easy to find what I need, add it to my cart, and schedule a time for me to pick it up without leaving my car. Especially in this Texas heat, it makes all the difference.
For years I have used Walmart to pick up groceries and I have been finding more and more on-trend pieces to easily transition my spaces.

When we moved into this house at the beginning of last summer, I picked up this patio set. We have had them for a year now and they look amazing. I just used the powerwasher at the beginning of the season to hose down the cushions.
I love the curved back and wicker details. The cushions tie so they stay in place and they have a stainless steel frame that has been powder coated for rust resistance against the elements.
I really wanted a pop of color on our patio so you could see it when you drive up. I fell in love with this turquoise palm print on these pillows.
These also are super easy to keep clean. Simply spot clean with a soft cloth, mild soap, and warm water to keep them looking new.
I placed a small potted plant on the side table to add a little color.

Walmart has an amazing gardening center that I have been shopping at for years. You may remember the topiaries I used to get for our last house each year that were from Walmart.
I also thought to create a little flower garden feel with lots of planters clustered on the porch. I picked ones that varied in height and size.
I found these large white planters and filled them with three types of plants. When the potato vine grows it will cascade over the edge.
These little wicker basket planters have a liner inside so they don’t get damaged from water. I added a pop of yellow to them with these flowers.
I love these black modern planters. They sit up on a stand and make it the perfect planter for narrow spots or to layer behind other planters.
So there you have it! I love all the pretty summery colors you can see when you drive up to our house and like I said I love to sit out here in the mornings with a cup of coffee.
I shopped some of my favoriet summer finds for you from Walmart so you can get a similar look for your own patio.
