Friends you are just going to LOVE this Strawberry Lime Beer Cocktail Recipe but first I have to tell you about how I found this new beer flavor because it was not by chance. Total Wine sure rolled out the red carpet! With amazing wines and champagnes to try along with an amazing cheese spread, we were able to experience the new store and get familiar with the layout.
With wines organized for summer selections and specialty beers pulled out to the front of the store and front and center when you walk in, it was easy to find the specialty items that were seasonal. Which is how I found this amazing new flavor from my favorite Texas beer, Shiner.
They really had me at the packaging. I mean look at it! I love strawberries and was really interested how that would taste for a beer. Cute packaging and my favorite fruit, I thought how could I loose. Um this is my new favorite drink this summer and I know you are going to love it too! Okay so now for the recipe.
Strawberry Lime Beer Cocktail Recipe:
Ingredients:
- Shiner Strawberry Beer
- Lime Vodka
- Topo Chico or Sparkling Water
- Strawberries and Lime for garnish
Directions:
Step 1: Fill glass with beer.
Step 2: Pour 1 shot or 1/2 shot of lime vodka (dependant on how strong you want it).
Step 3: Add a splash of sparkling water. If measuring with a shot glass, it is about 1 shot glass full.
Step 4: Stir all together.
Step 5: Garnish with a strawberry and a slice of lime.
So run on out to your nearest Total Wine and grab this new Shiner flavor. It is AMAZING! I swear this will be your new go to drink to serve for the summer.
