I can’t believe it but summer vacation starts for us in 2 weeks. We have some trips planned this summer and I am already trying to get everything lined up so I am not scrambling at the last minute. I always need a few good options for my trips and special occasions planned in the next couple of months as well as a few casual pieces. I love summer dresses that can work for both options too. Just switching out shoes and jewelry can change the look easily which is great when you are traveling. So I have put together my top 15 dresses for summer that I have found while looking for myself to help you get ready for your summer too.

ONE – I love the stripes of course on this one and the bottom is so flattering. I’m thinking this will be a good tummy hiding dress and perfect for date nights.
TWO – If you are looking for a great patterned dress for the summer for weddings or a special occasion then this one is gorgeous. It would be so pretty with these heels or to dress it down, with these sandals. I love this color too!
THREE – How cute are the bows on the shoulders?! This dress look so comfy and I love the color. Perfect for those warm summer nights.
FOUR – Everyone needs a great summer white dress and I love the eyelet detail on this one and the wrap bow on the waist. I always think this silhouette is always so flattering on so many body types.
FIVE – I’m in love with this soft blush color in this floral dress. It has a airy look that is so feminine and pretty. I’ve been searching for a gorgeous floral print that wasn’t overpowering and it would be gorgeous paired with a jean jacket on cooler nights.
SIX – This dress for me would be my everyday dress. I love the oversized style and the navy thread detailed pattern. I would even throw this over my bathing suit and head to the pool. This just might be my favorite dress out of all of them!
SEVEN – This bright blue dress is one of those colors that is flattering on just about anyone who wears it. I love the off the shoulder ruffle detail. Again perfect for date nights or a summer wedding.
EIGHT – If you are looking for a t-shirt dress then here you go. These are THE most comfy dresses to wear in the summer heat and this is another one that would be great as a bathing suit cover up. I have 3 of these in different colors and I wear them all the time.
NINE – I just love this gorgeous oversized plaid pattern on this dress. I love the longer length of the skirt too and it is such a flattering top. These colors kind of remind me of a summer sunset.
TEN – Here is another great t-shirt dress in a stripe but with off the shoulder sleeves. This one is a steal for under $18!
ELEVEN – I adore the feminine look of this dress and the color is one of my favorites. It feels soft and beachy with a roomy skirt. I would wear this with either sandals like these or a wedge heel like these.
TWELVE – I am such a denim girl and always have one good denim dress for the summer. This one has a cute little tie waist and with the rolled up sleeves you can easily wear this into the fall season.
THIRTEEN – Talk about the most gorgeous emerald green color ever! Love this and that collar detail is amazing! But if this color isn’t your thing it comes in black too which is so pretty.
FOURTEEN – Subtle blue and white stripes with a gorgeous coral pattern and cut out sleeves. What more could you ask for?! Such a pretty and flowy dress to keep cool in. I would wear this one with cute platform sandals like these ones.
FIFTEEN – Easily my favorite Lily Pulitzer dress this season and this is my favorite silhouette of theirs. I always love their bright color patterns but this one with the subtle black in the hem is just gorgeous.
