A homemade gift is a perfect way to show someone how much you appreciate them. I love using essential oils around my home to help with various health issues, as well as enjoying a sweet smelling home, but I’m also addicted to making all kinds of goodies with my oils!
A while back when I decided to try to make my home more chemical free, that included me too and the beauty products I use. There are so many hidden chemicals in the department store perfumes and it made me start thinking of the Batman movie with Jack Nicholson. I am also very particular to what scents I like and I actually like having the control to mix my own “recipe”.
It really is very easy actually to make your own perfume and doesn’t take a long time. It takes 3-4 base ingredients which really is up to you. You can make scents that help you to relax, help to de-stress you, or help to change your mood. I can tell you my over the counter perfume definitely doesn’t do this! So enjoy this simple DIY tutorial on making the perfect scent for you!
