In the beginning there are so many things to look forward to. Going on your first trip as a married couple, referring to your husband as “your husband” now, and buying your first home. But it doesn’t stop there. There is decorating your home, having a house warming party, and buying your change of address cards with the new “Mr. & Mrs.” printed on them. Then comes the amazing part- the baby that has a little of him in her/him and A LOT of you! As you can see there is no stopping to all the exciting things to come. There are so many ways to celebrate and have your personal touch on each of these big moments in your life. And that is one of the many reasons I have created this blog. I want to share with you all the amazing ideas that I have come across through the years and still am discovering. I hope to eventually create some things I have been brewing up in my head but for now I will just share what I have been finding.

So for this reason, I felt it only appropriate to kick of this blog with an amazing recap of a beautiful wedding. This wedding is the epitome of classic design and stunning taste by the bride and groom and I can only imagine what their home looks like. It takes place at the Firestone Winery in Los Olivos and has a special place in my heart since this is where my husband and I got married. (I will share details from that later). Please enjoy and embrace your wonderful nest!

  1. This song is one of my favorites right now…I listen to it over and over. And I can't get enough of these 8mm wedding videos. They are just so pretty and romantic and fun! Thanks for sharing it! How cool that you got married at the same place…it looks so beautiful!
