I LOVE trifles and this patriotic berry trifle recipe is super easy to make with a wow impact for presentation!

Patriotic Berry Trifle Recipe
Ingredients
- 10 oz Angel Food Cake
- 2 pints Strawberries (sliced)
- 2 pints Blueberries
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
- 1 Cool Whip/Whipped Cream
- 1 packet Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
Directions
Step 1 – Make the angel food cake and pudding according to package instructions.
Step 2 – Combine 2 cups of berries, sugar, and cornstarch in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a simmer and cook until the berries begin to break down. Remove from heat and set aside until cool.
Step 3 – Use a star cookie cutter to make angel food cake stars.
Step 4 – To assemble, layer the pudding, angel food cake stars, berries and whipped cream in your glass bowl starting with the pudding in the bottom, the cake stars, then berries and whipped cream. Alternate back and forth until there is a 1/4″ of room left at the top.
Step 5 – Garnish the top with a layer of whole berries in a fun pattern! Serve immediately.
