Friends spring is ALMOST here and I could not be happier to share this spring table setting with you today! I was so inspired by Golden Hill Studio’s Barcelona Collection with it’s rich blue pattern to create this fresh and colorful table setting perfect for upcoming spring and summer entertaining. But first I have to tell you a little about this beautiful little company. The pieces are absolutely stunning in person and are hand painted by artisans here in the USA. Bette, the owner of GHS, is inspired by her travels from around the world and creates these incredible pieces of art from them. I call them pieces of art because just looking at them in pictures does not do them justice. The hand painting is exquisite. BUT you can win some of these gorgeous pieces in our giveaway! So for now just take a look at how dreamy they are and get my tips on setting a fresh spring table. . . . .

Stunning right?!! Grab my tips below on how to set a beautiful spring tablescape.
5 Tips for a Fresh Spring Table Setting:
-
Select a color palette
I always start by selecting the colors I will be using in my table decor. You can pick this from the plates you will be using to a vase for the center of your table. I typically like to have 2 colors “rule” my tablescape. Since navy was predominantly in my dishware, I picked a color that is what I call a sister color in the same blue tone family but gave it a good contrast, hot pink. Yellow would have been another beautiful option too.
-
Anchor your color palette
Always anchor your color palette with a tablecloth or placemats. It will make your table feel grounded and make the color of your dishware pop!
-
Always use fresh flowers
I can not tell you how much I think flowers can make or break a table setting. Especially a spring one when it is all about everything blooming. I typically like small arrangements that people can see over and can be gifted to guests when they leave. I generally have a roll of butcher paper that I wrap the bouquets with and hand to guests as they leave as a little thank you.

Choose something unique and fun for the center of the table
This really can just be a gorgeous floral arrangement but I loved this modern pineapple. It is actually a jar and I placed after lunch cookies in it for my guests. I love when decor is not only gorgeous but functional too! Some other fun ideas for a centerpiece would be old a cluster of white vases with single stemmed flowers, a bowl of citrus, or mini potted succulents.

Use fresh citrus accents
There is nothing like the smell of fresh citrus! It smells good and is such a great pop of color. I love to use it in bowls for decor, sliced to garnish the side of glasses and to serve for guests to eat. It is again one of those pieces of decor that is beautiful and functional. That’s always a win win combo in my book!
