My first official Fall home tour in our new home! We moved last year 2 days before Thanksgiving so I decorated for Christmas and not for Fall.

It was honestly a lot of fun unpacking all my Fall decor this year because it all felt fresh and new since I have not used it all in this house.

Typically I start decorating for Fall in my home towards the end of August. I know that may seem a bit early but I love to take my time and not just put it all up in a weekend.

I love to mull over what I have, place it, and live with it a bit. Sometimes I take it right down and do something totally different, and other times I add more layers in after looking at it for a bit.

This year I kept things relatively simple and just added lots of cozy layers.

I feel like we are still settling in and even moving furniture around now that we have lived with it for a while. With that said the little corner spaces on either side of the fireplace I think are my favorite.

As you know our entry, living room, breakfast room, and kitchen are essentially 1 big open space divided by ceiling height changes and cut-out nooks in walls.

What you get when you do that are spaces that need to be tied together with color and neutral decor that can all work seamlessly together.

Fall Entryway Decor

So starting in my little entryway nook, we have this beautiful blue scalloped mirror and rattan cart.

I’ve had this collection of vintage seltzer bottles for years and just found them since we moved. I love the pop of color they add here. I just tucked in a little glass pumpkin I got a few years ago with them.

I really did not add much else to this cart except add this beautiful vase that is under $10 and pop in some faux berry stems that I already had.

I love the texture and lines of this vase and it will be perfect for next season too.

I have this little white table lamp with rattan shade here that is on a timer so in the morning and evenings it automatically turns off.

This is one of my favorite things to do with my table lamps that are near windows.

Fall Kitchen Decor

Our kitchen has so many great spots to decorate but one of my main goals was to not overcrowd our kitchen island which is easy to do because it is so big.

Simple faux Fall stems, vintage glass pieces, and my collection of cutting boards really is most of what I used.

These faux maple leaf stems vary in color and look like they were just picked from the yard. I used 5 stems in here and like that it looks a little haphazard.

I love burning candles when I am cooking at this midnight woods candle one is one of my favorites. It has a wood, tonka, amber base to it that is rich and woodsy smelling.

I got it years ago at Homegoods so next time you are there go check and see if they have any more.

I got this glass pumpkin (similar) a few years back and love how simple it is.

It picks the shades of orange up in the maple leaves so I thought it would be so pretty paired on the counter with them.

Y’all this runner has been here since I moved in! Typically I switch my runners out in my kitchen each season but I love this one so much. It is the perfect neutral backdrop and adds a little texture.

I like to have the things I use most for cooking out so they are easy to grab and so it doesn’t look cluttered I group them with cutting boards or a little tray.

In the Fall I tend to cook with basil a lot so I picked this fresh one up at our local nursery and just pluck off what I need while I am cooking. I love having fresh herbs in the kitchen!

And of course I keep all my wood spoons handy and my favorite salt and pepper mills close by.

Don’t laugh but I have a thing for olive oils. I love to collect different ones with flavors and have been doing so for a couple of years now.

I have noticed when I had them in the pantry I would not use them as much so I have them stacked next to my stove on a marble tray.

I also keep a candle here for the season and a little marble pot with pink himalayan salt.

On the other side of the kitchen, I keep my pumpkin casserole dish that I like to use when I make Fall soups.

And maybe you didn’t see it tucked behind the cake stand but I love to listen to music when I cook so my little Google dot is buried there.

Another thing I love to seasonally change is the hand and dish soap we use. This vanilla Santal soap is so so good!

Fall Living Room Decor

Above our fireplace in the living room, I have this chrome grid mirror which I’ve had for years. I love how simple it is and it makes it easy to decorate around.

This year I chose to use simple faux magnolia stems and tuck them in behind the mirror and the white candlesticks.

I also added some mini white pumpkins, I love this pack of 12 that I have had for a few years now. They are the perfect set to use for little nooks and crannies where you just need a little Fall flare.

I also used these green pumpkin picks for either side of the mirror. I think they pop the green from the magnolias and adds a little dimension.

I used one of my favorite knit blankets, a knit pumpkin (similar), a basket weave pumpkin (similar), and one of these brown pillows to soften the look on the right side of the fireplace.

These are all pieces I had and I just added this inexpensive and beautiful brown pillow to the mix. I used the other one from the set over on the other side of the fireplace on the bench seat.

I love this little spot to the left of our fireplace because it is so close to the front door if someone needs to sit down and take their shoes off.

I have a cluster of some new and old pillows here to make an eclectic look.

I love this gorgeous brown and cream plaid throw too. It is the perfect pop of pattern and we can easily grab it when we need it for when it gets colder. And it is also only $16 which you can’t beat!

Every year I try to collect a couple of glass pumpkins because they really are so pretty. In years past I have added little votive candles under them so they illuminate at night.

I tucked another one I got a couple of years ago next to this urn full of amber-colored eucalyptus leaves for a little subtle Fall look.

I did snag this year the viral candle and scalloped marble candle tray. I am sure you have seen it everywhere and it really is worth it. It smells amazing and that scalloped tray would be so cute in a bathroom with soap later.

I still love getting magazines in the mail and when they are good ones I hold on to them and love to stack them on my coffee table. I put a glass pumpkin on top and love the subtle color.

You know how much I love my pillows! I mixed some of the ones I already had with some ones from Amazon and Walmart for a little color and pattern.

You can see more of my favorite pillow finds in my post about the best cozy Fall pillows and how to mix and match them.
