We are so excited to show off some graduation party ideas by Haddy of House of Creative Designs today. Haddy and I have done a few collaborations and most recently this fantastic graduation party for one of her clients. You may also remember her branding that we did and I think it truly epitomizes her taste as you can see in this party.

Here are a few words from Haddy on this fabulous party:

I styled this 8th Grade Graduation Party for an adorable girl. I wanted to design something that would be whimsical and a little different then what you normally see but still incorporating all the iconic Graduation items.

Some of the key pieces were these Candy trees. I made them primarily out of large Marshmallows that I dyed in food coloring and water. They of coarse were topped off with their own Grad caps. I also created a pop holder made from thrift store books and s’mores pops made to look like little graduation caps with tassels.

Lastly I wanted to have something personal she could keep and something for the guests to do as well. I had them write her well wishes and bits of advice that would help her in this transition into high school. They rolled them up and tied them to look like diplomas. There is a ton of crafty little details in this party that can all be done on a budget and you don’t even have to be a craft DIY Master.

    1. Hi Kathleen, do you mean the one in the background of the table? We designed it and the stylist had it printed at Staples.

      1. Love it … both my kids graduated this year, one from college and one from high school. I don’t imagine you’d want to share the file, please? I’m having a grad party for both of my kids and this would be perfect 🙂 Thanks!!
