I could not be more excited to share with you today my spring home tour with At Home! I relied on one of my favorite brands to help me pull together all my spring touches in our new home and I love the modern coastal flare. Also, this is your first chance to see a room in our home and I hope you love it. When I think of spring decor, I think of a few key components that you need to incorporate so I created a guide below so you can take this shopping list to your At Home store to shop with ease. At Home has the largest selection of home decor to choose from for the interior of your home as well as for your outdoor spaces with affordable prices. You can walk into one of their stores and get inspired to create a look that is unique and full of personality just for you! So without further ado, here is our living room decked for spring and tips to add spring decor to your home!
Tips to Add Spring Decor:
I always like to select my seasonal accent color before I go shopping.
I chose a turquoise and sea green color palette this year. I think these two colors compliment each other perfectly since they are in the same color family and give each other some depth. I also included hints of rich purple/lilac. With that color being in the blue family, it really makes our new navy velvet sofa pop.
I love selecting accessories that compliment my overall look of the room.
I kept our mantle clean and simple. I used this gorgeous ocean artwork from At Home and found beautiful accent bottles to compliment the colors in the art. I love that art section at At Home. There are so many choices from canvas art, typographic art and even free form wall art. You can also choose from so many different decor styles like farmhouse, coastal, traditional and modern abstract. Art can be hard to select but there is something for everyone here.
I just picked up this black iron coffee table from At Home and love the irregular oval shape. This is not the largest space so the size of this is just perfect. The silhouette is also a great compliment to the furniture we have in here. I love that it was affordable and stylish too!
One thing I always update for spring are my floral arrangements.
I love to get great faux flowers that I can pop into vases all around my home. I typically go for neutral staple floral stems like white roses and hydrangeas then look for stems to mix in that are in my accent colors. These blue/purple hydrangeas are gorgeous and I added some white roses as my base. Then I simply added them to this abstract white and cement colored vase to my coffee table in a white tray.
I found this incredible rustic wood bowl and multi colored capiz shell balls. I love their coastal nod and the varying mint colors. I layered my farmhouse beads I made for an extra touch.
Don’t forget to add seasonal pillows and blankets.
As you all know pillows are my thing. I can never get enough of them and the pillow isles at At Home are just heaven.
I found some pillows rich in texture and in my colors I wanted. The bold navy and white striped pillow is an outdoor pillow but I love using those indoors too. They are easy to clean and super durable.
I layered more striped pillows and a pretty camel colored pillow for some depth on our navy velvet sofa.
I also found this gorgeous lightweight blanket with tassel detail to match my pillows.
Adding pillows and blankets to a space really softens the feel and warms it up.
I have to admit the tassel detail on this throw blanket is just amazing!
I decked out my bar cart in the breakfast room with more coordinating faux florals and a coordinating candlestick from the living room. This really ties the two rooms together since they open into each other. I fell in love with these beautiful blue berry stems and love the whimsical touch they add.
You can’t forget about adding spring to the kitchen!
As one of the most used spaces in a home, there are a few staple items to change out with the seasons.
One of my favorite details is popping a fresh and vibrant color into the space.
This faux floral arrangement is so cheerful in these pretty shades of pink . If you don’t want to attempt putting your own floral arrangements together, then At Home has premade ones in gorgeous vases all set to go!
Another favorite touch to add for the season are fresh smelling candles.
I love that this one ties in with my sea green/turquoise accent colors and smells delicious! I used a beautiful small mirrored tray for it to sit on.
Don’t forget about those greens!
I am such a fan of adding greenery to a space but I honestly kill everything. I fell in love with these mini herb baskets and knew they would be a beautiful touch to my kitchen counter.
Aren’t these pretty lavender stems gorgeous?! I decorated my sink area with them and a gorgeous cement vase with gold trim. I found this amazing gold bowl and added oranges and a candle to the space. I burn my candles every night so I never think you can have enough. I love that this one I can reuse the glass bowl when it has burned out. I see using it for fresh flowers from the market later on.
And there you have it friends! At Home was the perfect one stop shop for me to deck out my home for spring. I love all the choices and affordable prices to make my home feel cozy for the season.
