Effortlessly blending the charm of rural living with the sleek functionality of contemporary urban life is what farmhouse style is all about. The farmhouse industrial kitchen style marries the warmth of rustic, country aesthetics with the rugged edge of industrial chic.

I love the farmhouse style so much so I wanted to share some farmhouse kitchens that are truly amazing.

What Is Farmhouse Kitchen Style

Farmhouse kitchen style, often referred to simply as “farmhouse industrial,” is a popular interior design trend that blends the rustic charm of a traditional farmhouse kitchen with the raw and utilitarian aesthetics of an industrial space.

This style has gained popularity for its unique combination of warmth, functionality, and visual appeal.

Farmhouse industrial kitchens typically embrace a neutral color palette with shades of white, beige, gray, and black.

These colors create a timeless and soothing atmosphere while allowing the natural materials and textures to shine.

The farmhouse industrial kitchen style embraces the idea of blending the old with the new, creating a harmonious and inviting space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

It’s a design choice that pays homage to the past while accommodating the needs of modern living, making it a versatile and enduring style for kitchens of all sizes and layouts.

How To Get The Farmhouse Look

Farmhouse industrial kitchens often feature a mix of raw and natural materials such as reclaimed wood, distressed or weathered finishes, exposed brick walls, and metals like steel, iron, or copper. These materials add texture and character to the space.

Instead of traditional upper cabinets, open shelving is a common feature in farmhouse industrial kitchens.

It provides a practical yet aesthetically pleasing way to display dishes, glassware, and decorative items while maintaining an open and airy feel.

    1. Thank you for these farmhouse kitchen ideas. Personally, I really like the idea of using vintage furniture, like lantern pendants for example. It seems like a fun way to add an interesting accent to the kitchen or give it a unique flare.
