Every fall I look forward to a little refresh to some essential basic home decor items for my home. This is the time before the hustle and bustle of school starting and holiday guests coming to update everything. One of the best weekend’s to shop is Labor Day and I’ve teamed up with Kohl’s to share my favorite items from their amazing White Sale this year. I love the wide variety of items Kohl’s has and their affordable price points. The White Sale is full of all these essential items you need and I am going to give you my shopping list for the sale so you don’t miss out on these key pieces.

I have a few favorite lines I love to shop at Kohl’s. The Big One has amazing bedding basics that are priced well and hold up over time. I purchased these 27″ Euro Pillows for our new guest room. They are super fluffy and very comfortable to lay on when reading a book in bed. The large size is great for my husband too. Typically with smaller pillows he needs a few to support his back when reading in bed but these are so plush and large, this is all he needs.
Another one of my favorite brands at Kohl’s is Columbia. Whenever this brand is on sale I stock up quick! Friends these are THE most amazing pillows ever, the Columbia Down-Alternative Allergen Barrier Pillow. The have a soft cover that gives a allergen barrier protection that keeps household allergens and pollen free and clear. I also love that this pillow has moisture wicking technology that keeps you cool and comfortable. My husband especially needs this! Columbia pillows are what we have on all our beds and with the White Sale, I am grabbing a few extras to have in the closet as back ups.
Kohl’s carries one of my all-time favorite brands for bedding, Serta. They have incredible memory foam pillows and toppers and they are at amazing affordable prices. If you have never slept with memory foam, then you are missing out on the BEST night sleep. It curves your body and relieves the pressure points which really helps if you are a side sleeper like me.
I am also in love with all their heating blankets. I snagged two this year since we moved into this two-story house so I could have one upstairs and one downstairs. I used to love my heating blanket when I was a kid and kept it on my bed.
These new furry heating blankets from Serta are unbelievably cozy and comfortable. I got this plush faux rabbit fur one for the second story game room and guest bedroom and then this faux fur heating blanket in beige for downstairs.
They are the perfect size for a lap blanket and has an 8.5 plug-in power cord. One side has the fur and then the other side is a soft plush. There are 5 heat settings which I love. I love it super hot when I fist have the blanket on and then like to adjust it down once I’ve been under it for awhile. With so many settings, it’s easy to get the perfect temperature control. I think everyone needs a Serta heating blanket. They are such a luxury to have in the house for the fall/winter season.
Another favorite brand at Kohl’s is Mohawk. They have so many gorgeous kitchen runners to help refresh your room. I love their nonslip backing and they are stain resistant. A few of my favorites is this Fun Stripes Indoor/Outdoor Rug, the Straightway Striped Rug and Tamara EverStrand Trellis Rug. There are so many size variations and colors to choose from that the options are endless and easy to pick for your space.
Make sure to check out the White Sale at Kohl’s that is running from 8/22 – 9/3 to grab my favorite essential items for your home for a little refresh. With these affordable prices and amazing quality, you will love these new updates!
