Whether it’s for more convenience or just the experience, stocking up on some staples can add something special to the ritual.

Here are some items worth considering when creating your very own coffee corner.

What Do You Put In A Coffee Station

A well-stocked coffee station provides a variety of options and convenience for coffee lovers.

From coffee mugs to filters, you want to make sure not to forget anything so here is my personal list I use when stocking my coffee station.

  • Coffee machine or brewer
  • Coffee grinder
  • Coffee beans
  • Filters and brewing accessories
  • Variety of mugs and cups
  • Sweeteners and flavorings
  • Milk options
  • Stirrers and spoons
  • Water filter or bottled water
  • Napkins or paper towels
  • Condiments

How To Set Up A Coffee Station

There are many ways to set up a coffee station and really it all boils down to how you make a coffee and everything being organized enough for you to quickly grab what you need.

I start with setting up the coffee machine first and placing it front and center where I have decided to create a coffee station. Then from there, I organize my supplies in containers with labels so I can easily find things.

Lastly, I love to decorate the space with a few things like a plant or vase of flowers and maybe even some artwork.

Have fun with it and add a little personality to your coffee bar!

Coffee Station Essentials

There are a few key items that are essential to making your coffee station compete. These pieces are really what will make your coffee bar stand out and be ready to make the unique blends you love from your favorite coffee shops.

Coffee Makers

There are so many coffee makers out there and it may be hard to pick the right one for you. But think of what kinds of coffee drinks you generally gravitate towards. Do you like a plain black cup of coffee or would you rather be able to make lattes every morning.

This will help you pick a machine that is versatile for the kinds of drinks you like.

Also, ask yourself if you like to grind coffee beans or do you prefer ready-made coffee pods. Coffee machines that just take coffee pods are coming smaller and smaller these days, making them perfect for a small coffee knook.

Espresso Machines

Think about investing in a good espresso machine. If you love going to Starbucks and getting a frothy latte then this is what you will want.

They are robust and can handle a more complex coffee drink.

I personally love the Nespresso that makes espresso shots, lattes, and lungos AND it has coffee pods. This was a game-changer for me because I wanted the more complex drink but without the hassle.

Tea Kettles

You may not think about having tea stocked in your coffee station but this is a very common thing to have on hand for guests if you don’t personally drink it.

Have a tea kettle so it is easy to heat up water and serve when you need it.

It is especially beneficial at night if you are a tea drinker and you want more than one cup before bed.

French Press

My father-in-law got us hooked on a French press and it is amazing! It makes your coffee taste so rich and flavorful.

We also love it because you can literally make only one or two cups of coffee with fresh grounds and not waste the rest of a bigger pot of coffee.

It really is economical for those that love freshly roasted coffee and don’t want to make big pots of coffee.

Coffee and Espresso Grinders

A coffee and/or and espresso grinder is for the true barista who loves the art of making coffee. Having a good coffee grinder can make all the difference in the taste of a cup of coffee.

Proper grinding will pull out the rich flavor of the beans and make it taste more robust

Milk Frothers

I just personally started getting into frothing my milk for my coffee and I am hooked. I love to use oat milk and having a handheld milk frother makes it super easy to do.

Add your coffee into your cup, froth the milk in another cup, and then pour over your hot coffee for the most delicious tasting coffee drink! You will love it!

A well-equipped coffee bar is essential for any coffee lover. Not only does it allow you to experiment with different brewing methods and flavors, but it also serves as an excellent way to impress your guests with professional-grade coffee.

When it comes to the essentials, there are a few things you simply can’t do without.

And, don’t forget about the little things that can make a big difference like a milk frother or a French press. They will totally change your coffee game!

Ultimately, it’s about experimenting with different techniques and equipment to create your perfect cup of coffee. So have fun and you will have to let me know what coffee concoctions you come up with!
