When I think of classic American companies Gap is definitely one of them. They have a clean tailored look to all their clothing so when I heard they were exclusively partnering with Walmart for a Gap Home collection I was thrilled. Gap is known for such great basic yet on-trend pieces that I knew would transfer over to their new home line. And I was right! They have launched bedding, decor, bath and tabletop items.
The best part is you still get the Walmart experience when shopping that we’ve come to love. I personally feel Walmart’s price point, ease of online shopping and returns and their wide selection has made them a leader. And if you haven’t heard about Walmart + yet then you should definitely look into it and get signed up. My favorite features are free shipping with no order minimum and free delivery from your store for grocery items.
Gap Home Decor Collection:
While looking at the new Gap Home line, their standout pieces for me is the bedding line. I love the colors, patterns, and high-quality basics to make a dreamy bedroom. These are easy pieces to transition into what you already have or to refresh your space with a new look.
I opted to update all my bedding with this olive green chambray set to pair with the navy accents I already have in this room. This bedding set comes with a comforter and 2 shams (for a queen-size bed). I am in love with this tailored stripe pattern and the reverse is a solid for a subtle contrast.
What I love about this color is that I can easily transition this for fall and add in some chunky sweater pillows for some seasonal texture.

I also snagged this beautiful cotton quilt that has a frayed edge detail. That is one of the things I love most about Gap is their attention to detail and you can see that in their new home line. This quilt is light enough for a summer quilt and paired with this comforter can add more warmth when the summer months come to an end and it gets a little chillier.
I also snagged a couple of these washed waffle pillows. They are the perfect addition to make your bed look fuller and cozier. They are only $16 and come in 6 colors.
I paired my new bedding essentials with a couple of other of my favorites from Walmart like this wood tray, soft chenille blanket, Jasmine candle, and gorgeous faux flowers to make my guest room feel a bit cozier.
