Dressing up your mantel is an easy way to bring the colors and elements of the season into your home.

What Colors To Use For Your Fall Mantel

When deciding on what colors to use for your Fall mantel, you can either select a classic color scheme or go a little more bold and pick something more unusual.

Think of yummy plums, golden yellows, gorgeous spicy oranges, and warm browns as a good color palette to start with.

Here are a few of my favorite colors to select from to get a beautiful autumn look:

  • Warm earth tones: These include burnt oranges and pumpkin hues, deep reds and burgundies, rich browns, olive greens and forest greens, and mustard yellows and goldenrod.
  • Neutrals: These include cream or ivory for a neutral base, taupe or tan for a warm and earthy touch, and dark gray or charcoal for contrast.
  • Metallic accents: Incorporate metallic accents like bronze, copper, or gold to add a touch of elegance and shine to your fall mantel.

What Decor Pieces To Use To Decorate A Fall Mantel

If you are wondering what to use to decorate your Fall mantel, then I bet you may be surprised to find out you probably have many items already on hand. It will just be how you pair them and pull the look together.

Take a look around your house and look for baskets, plaid pillows, chunky throw blankets, wood frames, mirrors, and textured vases.

Use natural wood mixed with materials such as glass and metal, which pair perfectly with the Fall season and will give it a rich eclectic look.
