Sharing my Christmas Home Tour for the 2020 season with touches of green and white inspired by a winter forest. Sources for affordable Christmas decor to easily recreate this look.
Welcome to my home for the holidays! I am a little late but better late than never right? I did not accomplish decorating all the rooms yet but I wanted to share with you what I have done so far.
More Christmas decor posts will be coming in the next week or so, so make sure to come and check back.
This year I shared my Christmas tree decor early and you can see it HERE. It definitely gave you a pretty good idea of the theme in my home this year. I am craving the outdoors and traveling to the mountains with my family and my holiday decor reflects that.
Cozy Christmas Home Tour 2020:
My favorite element I added this year is this real touch pine garland. It is SO beautiful and drapes incredibly. I used the picks on the tree and used 4 garlands to make the Christmas mantle decor.

I also tucked these beautiful berry picks into the garland to add a little color and make it more full looking. They have eucalyptus leaves and pinecones on them too.
They come in a set of 3 and I used them in my kitchen too . . . but more on that later!
I used my pom pom stockings (similar) from last year but found some similar ones here for you.
I tucked my plaid ribbon I used on my Christmas tree into the top of the stockings and hung our mercury glass letters for our names from them.
I use my beautiful white and gold boxes every year in my Christmas home tour and add a few each year.
I love to use them until I have real wrapped presents for under my tree.
They just make it feel finished.
This year they have these beautiful powder blue boxes in all sizes that I added to my collection. I would suggest getting them because they are so affordable and you can use them every year.
I shared our Christmas tree the other week and here is another peek. You can see the full post on how I decorate a Christmas tree with the step-by-step instructions HERE.
In that post, I share all the details and sources so if you are looking for some fresh ornaments for the year then check that out.
My sofa got some fresh new cozy pillows this season too. I am obsessed with these green and white pillows and they are so affordable and cushy.

I paired them with a plush knit pillow and a light blue pillow to add some contrast color and texture.
I pulled out my faux paperwhites from last year and found a similar option if you want to get the look. I typically leave these out well past the Christmas season. I love flowers even in the winter months.

I am a sucker for having lots of blankets out during these colder months. I love to drape them over my chairs and sofa and have them stuffed in baskets. I rounded up all my cozy favorite blankets a few weeks ago so make sure to check it out.
Here is a quick peek at the view towards the kitchen. I will be sharing more of that soon.
The other space decked for our holiday home tour is our breakfast room. We use this as a craft spot, homework table and eating dinner if we are not eating at the counter. Basically, this space gets a lot of use and it is open into the rest of the kitchen/living room area.
Table | White Bamboo Chairs (similar) | End Chairs (similar) | Area Rug | Chandelier | Blue & White Drapes | Bamboo Shades | Wood Chargers | White Plates | Check Napkins | Mini Table Trees
I really kept it simple with a little soft blue and white table runner with these adorable mini pine trees in black pots. They come in 3 sizes and I just spread them out to look like a little forest.
I used my favorite wood chargers, simple white plates, and these new checkered napkins I just got.
I just tied them with this beautiful wired edged velvet ribbon and cut the ends for a pretty edge.
And that’s it for now friends, our 2020 Christmas Home Tour! I will be sharing my kitchen soon and possibly my entry if I can get it all together. I am really taking my time this year decorating and trying to enjoy my family after what we have all had as a rough year.
There is so much to be grateful for this year too and I hope you have a beautiful holiday with your family!
